David McIntire grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles and just knew there had to be something more interesting going on somewhere. So he found himself living the life of a rock'n'roll roadie, musician and poet. Only the poetry has persisted this long. He has been anthologized (Northridge Review, The Lion Speaks) and published in various journals online and in print (poeticdiversity.com, Shattersheet, etc.)
In the last year David has released two chapbooks. The first, Other, featured completely unique and one of a kind collage artwork on each copy, done by he and his wife, Cat. The other, more conventionally bound, is called Exit Wounds. He and Cat also host Poetry Stew, a monthly open mic in El Segundo.
