The Remains of My Love by John Haney

Moss on stones feel the foam
of crashing wave
all lovers kiss until they’ve gone away
far past horizons faded out
Shooting through stars and scattered about

blackened

The consequence of dreaming
The danger
pulling me in
to you

We are tied to a hot- sun tree
waiting for the Fireants to feed
Can you feel now, my love?

yellow pink

Black and White

the haunted shadows
Blood- let gentle strobing mystery
sucking the ages out of you,
eulogies of lovers scorned.

gray charcoal white

The resonance of dreaming
The danger
pulling you in
to me

We are tied to a cool- moon breeze
waiting for the Vultures to feed
Can you feel now, my love..

empty blue hue

the animal who crawls inside of you
and eats you from the inside out
taking everything you are
leaving you alone
with the remains
of my love.

Can you feel now, my love
