Thomas Kent

Many consider that Thomas Kent was born in a barn.  He is uxorious and orgulous, and tries to make up for it by working in the human rights field.  His nose is so large that he must cart it before him in a wheelbarrow.  He has published seven books of poetry including two under the name Willoughby the Cat, and is a well-known feature performer and reader in Melbourne.

Kent has been called ‘the best reader in Melbourne’ by liars. In 2009 he was nominated for the Premier’s Prize in Excellence in Multicultural journalism.  Tom also claims to be an artist and photographer, and performs what he laughably describes as music under the name My Melbourne Down.

Edgar & Lenore's Publishing House is proud to welcome Thomas to the EAP family.
